Cartoon - Prize 1

Hi there, everyone!

I've decided to bring you a surprise in the middle of the week, just for a change. And there are gonna prizes involved so, RUSH!!!

    Weel...there it goes:
    1- "brung" is kind of bad grammar. It's a mistake.
    2- Nelson doesn't know he had made a grammar mistake. As the word "grammar" sounds like "grandma" the boy understands his grandfather is talking about Nelson's grandmother...never about his grammar mistake!

  3. 1- Brought is the right verb, not "brung".

    2-Nelson understood that his grandpa believed the grandma was the responsable for the newspaper
    damage.

  4. That's it, everyone! The correct form is BROUGHT, as Leo has pointed out. And the mistake was the beginning of a huge misunderstanding!!! Regina's explanation is just perfect; take a look at her comment.
